Islanders in Iceland are fleeing the coastal city of Grindavik as a looming volcanic eruption has prompted the country to declare a state of emergency. The Icelandic Civil Protection Agency warned that these seismic activities could potentially lead to a volcanic eruption in Grindavik, as there are signs of magma formation. However, it is still uncertain whether the magma will break the Earth’s surface and cause an eruption. It is important to note that there are currently no indications of magma approaching the surface, but experts will closely monitor its progress.
